Arapahoe County Public Airport Authority meeting

At this month’s Centennial Airport Authority meeting, the citizens impacted by flight school noise (mostly in Greenwood Village, but some in Centennial) again came to discuss how to resolve this difficult issue. Prior to that discussion, South Metro Fire and Rescue (SMFR) talked about a new fire simulator they will be purchasing that will help train SMFR. This will save lives if a plane crashes on the airport field, on approach, or on departure. This will also be used as a regional training simulator for airport fire and rescue crews throughout Colorado and surrounding states.
